About Us
Mission Statement
The Mission of Arizona Family Counseling is to facilitate life-changing healing and transformation by encouraging and fostering personal, relational, and spiritual growth in adults, children, and families and implementing evidence-based interventions with the application of Scriptural Truths.
Who We Are
Welcome to Arizona Family Counseling where we are passionate about changing the lives of adults, children, and families! We are a highly specialized group of counselors who are known for providing trauma-informed counseling services in the state of Arizona. Our heart is for serving and strengthening clients from all walks of life, and to provide affordable services with quality and excellence.
Who We Serve
While we are dedicated to helping families and children who have walked through the foster care or adoption process, we exist to serve all! The fact that we serve clients in those situations makes us even more equipped to treat clients facing just about any life circumstance. Our experienced team is trained in a variety of treatment methods, and we are experts in trauma-informed and attachment work.
Impacting the Future
Arizona Family Counseling is a premier training site for students who are in the process of earning Graduate Degrees in Counseling. We offer exceptional oversight and thorough teaching methods for up-and-coming counselors—especially as it pertains to trauma-informed and attachment counseling modalities. Part of our Mission is to excellently prepare counselors so that, as they go out into the world, they are well-prepared and highly qualified no matter where they choose to practice!
Our Leadership
Our compassionate team is experienced in understanding families, trauma, and attachment. We use this foundation to help you work through anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, parenting needs, and behavioral difficulties.
Bobbie Rill, MA, LPC
Regional Clinical Director
In addition, she is an Advanced Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist and National Trainer of Trainers for the Grief Recovery Institute in Bend, OR.
Her background includes serving as the Executive Director of a multi-state network of counseling centers where she supervised a staff of 50 including both Master and Doctorate level therapists. She is a frequent event speaker and has been a guest on numerous radio shows.
Prior to Bobbie joining the CFC staff, she and her husband, Bob, founded The Grief and Wellness Group in Tucson, AZ. They have two married, adult children, two adorable grandkids, and a German Short Hair puppy, all of whom keep them on their toes.
Brandon Jones, LPC, MAPC
Regional Clinical Director
It is his prayer and heartfelt desire that every person who meets with him for therapy will leave with a deeper understanding of their strength and ability to overcome any obstacle. He looks forward to supporting you in your journey of moving from surviving to thriving using research-based counseling interventions. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, he makes it a top priority to create a counseling environment that is safe, non-judgmental, collaborative, and encouraging.
For those who share the Christian faith, Brandon uses scripture to encourage and inspire the healing process and will join you in praying to ask God to help the healing process.
Having learned valuable lessons from his personal life experiences, 15 years of marriage, and parenting his five biological and adopted children, he looks forward to supporting you as you navigate life’s challenges.
Chuck Geddes, Ph.D.
Family Coach
Dr. Geddes founded the organization Complex Trauma Resources and developed the Complex Care and Intervention program as a way to embed a trauma-focused therapeutic perspective into the care of children in the foster system.
In addition to clinical direction of complex cases, Dr. Geddes has provided education and training to social workers, foster and adoptive parents, and mental health clinicians across the province of British Columbia – and plans to offer these services here in Arizona as well.
Chuck and his wife, Louise, have three adult sons-one of whom has special needs. In his spare time, Chuck will often be found hiking or biking and is looking forward to exploring the trails around Prescott.
